Preface….

The history of Franciscan Clarist Congregation is the testimony of a handful of humble women being instrumentalized by the Almighty God for spreading His love. It is the saga of witnessing the Divine Providence in each and every juncture of life. With eight humble pious women and the paternal affection of Rt. Rev. Bp Charles Lavinge, FCC began its stride to “Holiness” with the armour of “Lowliness”. The seed that was planted by them at Changanasserry now has spread into 5 continents as 26 provinces and 4 regions in and out of India. Being in the 134^th year of grace, FCC continues to sing God's praises and glories for all He has done through FCC to channel the Divine Love to the world.

Golden Jubilee

The Golden Jubilee Celebration of the 1973 batch was held at Generalate on 29^th January 2023

A gathering of Golden Jubilarians of the 1973 batch was held at Portiuncula FCC Generalate from 24^th January to 29^th January 2023. They gathered in the Motherhouse cherishing the warm memories of being the first batch members of the common Juniorate conducted in Portiuncula Generalate soon after the unification of FCC in 1970. Live discussions and inspiring talks enlightened the members to relive past memories. A solemn Eucharistic celebration of thanksgiving was officiated by Mar Pauly Kannukkadan, Bishop of Irinjalakkuda on 29^th January 2023.
