Preface….
The history of Franciscan Clarist Congregation is the testimony of a handful of humble women being instrumentalized by the Almighty God for spreading His love. It is the saga of witnessing the Divine Providence in each and every juncture of life. With eight humble pious women and the paternal affection of Rt. Rev. Bp Charles Lavinge, FCC began its stride to “Holiness” with the armour of “Lowliness”. The seed that was planted by them at Changanasserry now has spread into 5 continents as 26 provinces and 4 regions in and out of India. Being in the 134th year of grace, FCC continues to sing God's praises and glories for all He has done through FCC to channel the Divine Love to the world.
It is the first ever written biography of Bl. Martyr Rani Maria. Immediately after the martyrdom of the Blessed, her Novice Mistress Rev. Mother Infant Mary began the work of writing from her own personal experiences, interviewing those who closely associated with Sr. Rani Maria and collecting the material available at that time. A renewed second edition was prepared by Rev Sr. Gici Maria in 2017. While the book shed light in to the life and missionary activities of the blessed Martyr Rani Maria, it gives lot of information about the land, people and culture of the time and places where the blessed lived. The book is highly inspirational andreader-friendly.
