Preface….
The history of Franciscan Clarist Congregation is the testimony of a handful of humble women being instrumentalized by the Almighty God for spreading His love. It is the saga of witnessing the Divine Providence in each and every juncture of life. With eight humble pious women and the paternal affection of Rt. Rev. Bp Charles Lavinge, FCC began its stride to “Holiness” with the armour of “Lowliness”. The seed that was planted by them at Changanasserry now has spread into 5 continents as 26 provinces and 4 regions in and out of India. Being in the 134th year of grace, FCC continues to sing God's praises and glories for all He has done through FCC to channel the Divine Love to the world.
It is a complete Biography of Mother Nobert. She was an ordinary person who chose to be a religious nun in FCC. She had very simple dreams of loving God and his people when she entered the convent. But a very serious accident tuned her life topsy tuvy..rendering her paralyzed from the hip at avery tender age. The remaining was along journey of 57 years spent in wheelchair and sickbed within the walls of the same room in the Blessed Sacrament convent in Marthakkara. The book illustrates the evolution of her deep friendship with the Crucified Christ, the secrets she learned personally from her Lord, her transformation from a fragmented self to an enlightened soul in who Divine friendship penetrates and permeates to others.
