FCC Mission in Abroad

Launching into the foreign mission was another mile stone in the growth of FCC which was originated in the soil of Kerala in 1888 and marked a new history by starting a  mission in North India, from the religious communities of Syro Malabar Rite for  the first time. Due to the dearth of religious vocations in many countries, the  absence of consecrated people for the ministries such as nursing the sick, caring  the elderly and nurturing the faith of young people and children was deeply felt  and FCC was invited to serve there. Realizing this situation FCC began service  in  many foreign countries by facing the challenges posed by the language,  culture and climate. In 1963 Sr. Beatrice and Sr. Mary Ans of Devamatha Province Changanasserry, began their service in Germany and it was the opening of foreign mission of FCC Subsequently FCC made advancement in missionary endeavours to various parts of the world
